Helping hands needed
Residents in Rutherglen and Cambuslang are being asked to consider volunteering for the South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership (SLHSCP).
A free workshop will be held in Rutherglen Town Hall on Tuesday, June 6, between 9.30am and 3.30pm for anyone interested.
The partnership combines aims to improve health and social care across the region and is a parntership of agencies from the likes of the public and voluntary sectors.
The workshop, one of four, will be run by Cormac Russell, a world-leading thinker on community-driven change.
Val de Souza, director of health and social care of SLHSCP, is leading on a programme of building and celebrating communities.
She said: “There’s an abundance of good work already underway here.”
