Ac­tress Leah­will per­form in­Au­gust

TV ac­tress, co­me­dian and Ruther­glen Re­former colum­nist Leah MacRae will be at the Town Hall in August.

Leah, who has lived in King’s Park and now stays in Castlemilk, will bring her one woman show to the venue on Satur­day, August 5.

The show had been sched­uled for ear­lier this year but had to be post­poned af­ter Leah broke her leg on­stage.

She is cur­rently re­cov­er­ing from her un­lucky in­jury, but will be back on form come August.

Her show, My Big Fat Fab­u­lous Diary, was first per­formed at the Ed­in­burgh Fringe last year.

It is packed full of hys­ter­i­cal sto­ries and belt­ing com­edy songs, and prom­ises to be a great night out.

Leah cur­rently stars in River City but is also known for her work in Gary: Tank Com­man­der and a host of theatre shows.

The show will take place on Satur­day, August 5, at 7.30pm.
