Clyde are clos­ing in on their new man­ager as in­ter­views for the po­si­tion took place on Monday.

The Broad­wood club have been without a per­ma­nent man­ager since part­ing com­pany with Barry Fer­gu­son in Fe­bru­ary with in­terim co-player-man­agers Jon-Paul McGovern and Peter MacDon­ald guid­ing the Bully Wee to League Two safety.

Both men are in the run­ning while An­nan boss Jim Chap­man and for­mer Scot­land Un­der-21 man­ager Billy Stark are also be­ing tipped for the job.

Cam­bus­lang man Dar­ren Young was also linked with the role af­ter leav­ing Al­bion Rovers but he is an early con­tender to suc­ceed John Hughes at rel­e­gated Raith Rovers.
