Police are appealing for witnesses after a break-in at Park View Primary School.
Thieves smashed a window and broke a fire-door to gain access to the Cambuslang school at around 2am on Sunday morning.
A neighbour who heard the disturbance called the police but the culprits had fled upon their arrival.
Nothing was stolen, but damage was caused to an office area as well as the window and door. The school estimates the repairs will cost £440.
Police are now urging other residents, who may have seen people acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident, to call PC Kerr at Rutherglen Police Station on telephone number 101.
