An alleged thieving duo have appeared in court charged with stealing from cars parked in Cambuslang in the run up to Christmas.
John Mills, 56, and Jade Bruen, 28, are charged with stealing an electrical item from an unlocked car parked in Bruce Avenue sometime between December 11 and the following day.
Mills is also charged with handling stolen goods.
These include clothing, electrical items, sports equipment, household items, car accessories, paperwork and cosmetics, also believed to be taken from cars.
It is alleged Mills reset these goods at his home address on Langcroft Avenue on January 6, 2017.
Bruen is further charged with being in possession of class A drug diamorphine with intent to supply at Langcroft Avenue on January 6.
From Kirkconnel Drive in Rutherglen, Bruen and coaccused Mills are alleged to have committed these crimes whilst on bail.
The pair pleaded not guilty to all charges when they appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on May 17.
They will return to stand trial on October 16.
