Tennis clubs across Rutherglen and Cambuslang are serving up an exciting pilot programme allowing more people to get on court this summer.
The Summer Club Saver scheme has recently launched across the two towns and is giving families the opportunity to become short-term tennis club members over the summer season. And if they enjoy the experience they will also have the opportunity to become year-round club members.
Kirkhill, Cambuslang and Rutherglen tennis clubs have all signed up to the Tennis Scotland initiative.
Each club will offer an eight-week membership for all members of a family for a discounted price – from £35 - and provide a programme of activities for them to enjoy.
The Summer Club Saver is aiming to attract 300 new members to the six clubs in South Lanarkshire taking part, with at least 75 retained as long-term members.
Mike Cohen, Tennis Scotland regional development manager, said: “The Summer Club Saver offer makes tennis more accessible and affordable than ever before and gives families the opportunity to try out the local tennis club at an affordable price”.
