League triumph has helped to bring the community together
Cambuslang Rangers chairman Billy Miller believes winning the league title and gaining back-to-back promotions has brought the community together.
After watching The Lang since he was aged eight, Miller revealed the current team was the best he had seen in a long time.
And he hopes the club can hold on to some of their star men who have brought success to the town.
He said: “Winning a title is wonderful, it brings success back to the club. But, just as importantly, it helps in some small way to bring the community of Cambuslang together.
“No football club could exist without a myriad of people in the background – management, committee and the fans. I would like to thank each and every one of them for their hard work and support all season. Special thanks should go to Scott Wilson who is stepping down as secretary after eight years.
“The manager, Paul McColl, has made tremendous strides with the playing staff in two years, but to continue, the club needs the community to come out and support the team.”
