Bro­gan helps Scots qual­ify

Ruther­glen and Glas­gow City young­ster Bro­gan Hay has spo­ken of her pride af­ter mak­ing two ap­pear­ances for Scot­land as they qual­i­fied for the Euro­pean fi­nals.

The 18-year-old from Fern­hill was part of the Un­der 19 women’s squad who topped their qual­i­fy­ing group to ad­vance to the Championships in Au­gust.

Bro­gan, who has just bro­ken into the City first team – the most suc­cess­ful in Scot­tish women’s foot­ball – has al­ready bagged a goal af­ter com­ing on as a sub­sti­tute and is en­joy­ing work­ing with some of the best fe­male foot­ballers in the na­tion.

She said: “I feel that at train­ing I am al­ways im­prov­ing which is helped by work­ing along­side many of the best play­ers in this coun­try.

I al­ways try my best and want to get bet­ter.”
