De­nies ob­struct­ing two po­lice of­fi­cers

A man who al­legedly re­sisted and ob­structed two po­lice of­fi­cers in the line of duty has pleaded not guilty.

Jor­don Noon, from Half­way, was in Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on May 30 to an­swer two charges.

The 24-year-old is ac­cused of tens­ing his body and strug­gling with the po­lice of­fi­cers dur­ing an incident at his Mill Road ad­dress on June 3 last year.

He is also charged with be­hav­ing in a threat­en­ing and abu­sive man­ner by shout­ing and swear­ing on the same date.

He de­nies both charges against him and will stand trial on July 3.
