Rutherglen Reformer - - General Election -

I’m originally from Rutherglen but now reside in Cambuslang with my wife and two children.

I currently work in the public sector as a software test analyst but was originally trained in electronic and mechanical servicing and have worked throughout the UK and abroad.

I’ve served in the RAF, been an officer in the Merchant Navy, worked with the homeless in Glasgow and have worked in the defence sector as well as the public and private sectors.

I’ve also enjoyed a trip to Antarctica with the British Antarctic Survey.

I’ve seen the best and worst of this world and I bring all that experience with me.

I have been engaged in politics for as long as I can remember and have voted for many parties over the years, always voting for the party that I believed would best serve my community.

However, recently I have become disillusioned with party politics .

I have concluded that the electorate are no longer being effectively represented by political parties who appear to consistently place the needs of their party ahead of those of the electorate.

It is with this in mind that I decided to stand as an independent candidate.

My simple promise to the electorate of the Rutherglen and Hamilton West constituency is that I will serve them and only them.

My priorities will never be influenced by party politics and my main priority will always be to diligently serve those in the electorate with the utmost honesty and integrity.

I will serve the electorate and only them
