Rutherglen Reformer - - General Election -

As a lifelong resident of South Lanarkshire,I am passionate about standing up for everyone in the area.

I was born in Rutherglen Maternity, where my mum was a midwife for 20 years, and grew up in Cambuslang.

I know this area and I want to stand up for the people of the Rutherglen and Hamilton West constituency.

I’m a working mum and married to a small business owner, who is also a councillor.

The referendum ignited my interest in politics again and I feel my career has given me discipline, understanding and experience that I can use to represent the people of my area.

I pledge to; ● Fight for Scotland in a strong United Kingdom. ● Be an open and accessible MP. ● Stand up for our communities, residents and

May is the strong and stable leader we need

business owners. Be a voice in Westminster. My priorities are locking in the economic progress we have made since 2010 under the Conservative government.

The biggest defining issue for the next generation is going to be our Brexit negotiations and I believe that Theresa May is the strong and stable leader that we need to get the best deal for the whole of the UK.

A vote for me is a vote for Theresa May to lead those upcoming negotiations and not Jeremy Corbyn.

It’s also a vote to continue the economic progress we have made.

I want us to stay part of the union and I will be against any more divisive referendums for independence.
