Rutherglen Reformer - - City History -

Rutherglen voters might have switched their political party in recent years - but they’re loyal to their partners.

Rutherglen and Hamilton West has been found to be Scotland’s most faithful constituency, according to a raunchy website specialising in extramarital affairs.

IllicitEncounters.com created an election infidelity index in the run-up to this Thursday’s election.

The number of people cheating in each constituency was calculated using the postcode data of members of the website.

This was then run against the number of people eligible to vote in each constituency to give a percentage or Infidelity Index for that area.

Rutherglen and Hamilton West was found to be the most faithful in Scotland, and the eighth most faithful in the United Kingdom as a whole.

Glasgow North was found to be the most adulterous constituency in Scotland, and the 10th most adulterous in the UK.

The most adulterous constituency in the UK was found to be Westminster North while the least adulterous is Kingston and Surbiton.
