Harvey prepares fornext season
Three players left Glencairn last week as Willie Harvey began making plans to get his squad ready for next season.
Goalkeeper JC Hutchison has gone to play at Fauldhouse while Jamie Hunter has returned to Rossvale.
Ryan Docherty has moved to Clydebank.
Harvey will make only small changes to his squad this season with a priority now being a new No.1.
Three players have also made the step-up from the under 21s – Njablo Ndlovu, Craig Young and Alex Grier.
Harvey said:“Hutch’s best mate has taken over at Fauldhouse and he was open with us about wanting to go.
“He’s been a great servant and he’s done this in the right manner. He’s a cracking boy and I have nothing but good things to say about him.
“Jamie Hunter felt he didn’t get enough game time but that was down to how the midfield was playing.
“His attitude was superb, he never missed training and when he asked why he wasn’t playing he would take the explanation and be first at training the next night.
“We don’t really need to strengthen too much but we want the business done as we are back in on June 24.”
