Golf at shopping mall
Budding golfers will be able to compete on a course with a difference this weekend at Rutherglen Exchange.
The shopping centre will be hosting a nine-hole minigolf course on June 17, where families can put their putting skills to the test.
Open from midday to 5pm, the event is billed as a treat for Rutherglen dads the day before Father’s Day. It is free but there is a collection for the the centre’s charity of the year, Scottish Association for Mental Health.
Also returning to Rutherglen Exchange this month is the craft fair, which will once again give people the chance to purchase hand-made gifts.
Sharon O’Rourke, of the shopping centre, said: “The monthly craft fair returns to Rutherglen Exchange and with it comes a sizzling array of summer crafters including handmade jewellery, beautiful summer scented candles, some of the cutest handmade hair accessories and handmade photo frames, which are perfect for summer wedding gifts.”
The craft fair will run from 11am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday, June 30 and July 1.
