No more elections

Rutherglen Reformer - - Reformer View -

No sooner has an election ended than we are talking abut another one.

Whilst I do not believe Theresa May, propped up by the DUP, is a government Scotland would favour, we must end the campaigning.

Instead it is time for politicians to get back to the day job.

Issues such as poverty, education and the NHS have been put off for far too long.

Instead of being political footballs, kicked around in TV debates, these issues are problems politicians can solve if they put their minds to it.

So let’s end all the talk of another general election and everyone get back to the job at hand. name and address supplied
