Masonic Lodge hand over cash to the Beatson unit
Members of a Rutherglen masonic lodge have done their bit to help in the fight against cancer.
Rutherglen Royal Arch Masonic Lodge No 116 raised £751.11 for the Beatson Unit.
Right worshipful master Brother Jim Fowler and past master and secretary, Brother Thomas Craigon, visited the Beatson to present a cheque to the Beatson’s Caprice Morgan.
Thomas said:“Thank you to all the members and their guests for their kind contributions for such a worthwhile cause.”
The Beatson, in Glasgow’s west end, provides West of Scotland cancer patients and staff with the most cutting edge equipment, treatments and surroundings to fight cancer.
