Rutherglen Reformer - - News -

Parents seeking entertainment for youngsters in the summer holidays can leap into Rutherglen Exchange.

Kicking off the summer fun today, Wednesday, the shopping centre is, for the first time, hosting bungee trampolines.

In the centre until Saturday, the trampolines will give children a bird’s eye view of the busy shopping centre.

They are open from 10am until 5pm and cost £4 for five minutes.

The Crafting Cart will also be returning every Friday to offer workshops for children. It will give them the chance to make an array of summertime goodies including sand art, jewellery badges, masks and keepsake boxes.

And the Rutherglen Exchange mascot, Rex, will also pop in to help youngsters get creative each Friday between midday and 3pm.

The much loved craft fair will also be returning to the shopping centre on Friday and Saturday between 11am and 5pm.

It is accompanied by a one off popup jewellery and hair accessories stall. Featuring goods completely new to Rutherglen customers, the pop up market opened in the Exchange on Monday and runs until Saturday.

It is open 9am until 5.30pm.
