Rutherglen Reformer - - News - Douglas Dickie

Gerard Killen has teamed up with Glasgow region MSP James Kelly to offer every resident in Rutherglen and Cambuslang the chance to air their concerns.

The pair will write to every household offering a home visit.

According to the Labour Party, this is in contrast to SNP members who“are more interested in attending Scottish independence protests than listening to their constituents”.

Gerard said:“I ran a campaign on being an accessible and hardworking MP which is why I plan on spending my summer out and about and listening to local residents.

“I want to hear from people from across Rutherglen and Cambuslang about what issues are facing them and do my best to work with James Kelly to resolve them.”

James Kelly said:“Ged Killen won this month by working a great campaign, listening to local residents and putting our area’s priorities first.

“We’re not wasting any time or resting on our recent success, it’s time to get out there, help local people and keep up this momentum.”
