Nis­san’s X-Trail is about to go un­der the knife with a ro­bust re­design in­side and out.

There’s a higher-qual­ity in­te­rior,ad­di­tion­al­prac­ti­cal­ity and in­no­va­tive new tech­nolo­gies to make life on the road even safer.

It goes on sale in the UK in Au­gust and, along with other up­grades, will­beavail­able­with ProPILOT au­ton­o­mous drive tech­nol­ogy which will con­trol the steer­ing, ac­cel­er­a­tion and brak­ing in a sin­gle lane on high­ways dur­ing heavy traf­fic con­ges­tion and high-speed cruis­ing.

Changes to ex­te­rior styling in­clude the lat­est Nis­san “V-mo­tion” grille plus new head­lamp clus­ters and fog lampsin­te­grate­d­in­toarestyled front bumper.

The big­gest change to the pro­file of the new X-Trail is the ad­di­tion of a chrome side mouldin­gacross­the­base­ofthe two doors.

The X-Trail is of­ten used as a workhorse­andthe­booton­the new model is larger than be­fore.
