Rutherglen High School held its annual sports day which saw dozens of young athletes claim medals.

Pupils took part in a variety of competitive races including the 20m, 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m races.

They also had a 400m relay race and an inter-house Tug o’War competition.

The weather stayed fine for the competitors and a great day was had by pupils and staff.

In the end, after all the results were collated, the winning house group was declared as Kelso House.
