Parades pass peacefully
Several Orange Order marches which took place this week in Rutherglen and Cambuslang passed without incident, police say.
Bands led processions of people from premises on Elm Drive, Christie Place, Graham Avenue, Drummond Avenue and Greystone Gardens on July 1.
Most marches took place between 8.15am and 10am, before the Grand Orange Order parade left from Glasgow’s George Square at 10.30am.
A further two bands held their marches the previous evening, leaving from Cathcart Place and Somervell Street.
Police say no arrests were made in Rutherglen and Cambuslang as part of the festivities.
Eight people were arrested for minor disorder and alcohol related offences during the Glasgow City Centre event.
It saw 63 bands and 4,000 participants march from George Square to Glasgow Green.
