Plans to transform the former Royal Bank of Scotland on Cambuslang Main Street into a Costa Coffee have been approved.
Officers at South Lanarkshire Council gave the green light to the project last week.
It will involve the change of use from a bank to cafe as well as the formation of an external seating area.
Other plans given the go ahead last week were:
Installation of two VHF dipole antennas and associated equipment on support pole, on existing radio tower, site at South Cathkin Farm, Rutherglen.
Removal of existing timber windows and installation of replacement uPVC windows, 59 Wellshot Drive, Cambuslang.
