Castlemilk man Ross Murray remains undefeated as a professional after cruising to a sixth straight victory.
The 35-year-old never dropped a round against Hungarian Gyula Dodu at the Paisley Lagoon Centre on July 1.
Dodu travelled with a winning ledger of 12-4, but every time he ventured out of his homeland, he’d been stopped.
Although frustrated by Dodu’s movement and high guard, the British flyweight No 3 found joy when his opponent began to tire and he scored a knockdown. This helped see him win the contest by 60-53.
He said:“I was hoping for the stoppage but unfortunately that didn’t come. But I won every round so it was quite straight forward.
“He was decent. He was coming with a winning record so I knew this would probably be my toughest fight yet. I think it brought the best out of me.”
