Clyde Gate­way in­stall su­per­fast broad­band

Clyde Gate­way has de­vel­oped an­other in­cen­tive to en­tice busi­nesses to Ruther­glen.

The re­gen­er­a­tion com­pany, which aims to grow the Ruther­glen econ­omy with investment in in­fra­struc­ture, has in­stalled su­per­fast broad­band at its Red Tree Busi­ness Suites.

It has be­come the only ser­viced of­fice in South La­nark­shire to of­fer tenants a 1GB fi­bre con­nec­tion with failover. This means that should one net­work fail, the in­ter­net con­nec­tion will au­to­mat­i­cally flip to an­other.

A spokesman for Clyde Gate­way said:“We un­der­stand that a com­pany’s abil­ity to do busi­ness at our cen­tres de­pends on a fast, se­cure and re­li­able con­nec­tion to the in­ter­net and that their cus­tomers need to be able to reach them from the mo­ment they move in.

“Our investment in the in­ter­net and tele­coms net­works en­ables busi­nesses to get started straight away, with­out un­nec­es­sary costly ex­pen­di­ture on IT sys­tems, con­nec­tiv­ity and tele­phone con­nec­tions.

“With min­i­mum 1GB cir­cuits giv­ing 1:1 sym­met­ri­cal band­width into ev­ery build­ing, our cen­tres have the ro­bust, high qual­ity in­ter­net con­nec­tion needed to safe­guard busi­nesses and en­sure their ser­vice is re­li­able and re­silient.”

A num­ber of busi­nesses are al­ready op­er­at­ing from the Red Tree Busi­ness Suites, but two are cur­rently va­cant - one at 392 sq ft and the sec­ond 3,579 sq ft.

The suites, at 24 Stonelaw Road, also in­clude a book­able meet­ing room, com­mu­nal kitchen, male, fe­male and ac­ces­si­ble toi­lets, lift ac­cess to first floor and pri­vate car park­ing spa­ces.

“Ad­di­tional per­mit park­ing is also avail­able.”
