Bobby is a dazzler as he beats cancer

-

A Cambuslang lad who touched the hearts of Reformer readers has symbolically rung the bell at Glasgow Children’s Hospital after beating cancer.

Four-year-old Bobby McGregor underwent chemotherapy just about every day for three years to treat lymphoblastic leukaemia.

But two weeks ago we reported that Bobby’s mum and dad,Whitney Watson and Robert McGregor, had received the news they longed for when they were told his treatment was over and he was cancer-free.

And on Monday they returned to the hospital where Bobby rang the end of treatment bell to signify his victory over the disease.

Mum Whitney posted the picture on Facebook, saying:“Best morning ever with all my family and Robert’s family.

“Here’s to a life of health and happiness now my wee man has completely kicked cancer’s a***.”
