Rutherglen Reformer - - News -

Two people who have experienced suicidal thoughts say talking is the most powerful tool to changing lives. Yvonne Collins and John have bothbeen to rock bottom and spoke to the Reformer in the week Scotland’s suicide figures were released. Yvonne was so anxious she was unable to leave her home, while John’s battle with alcoholism and depression meant he was, in his words, in the gutter. What these two people have in common is that they have turned their lives around with the support of Healthy n Happy Community DevelopmentTrust. The duo are part of the trust’sTellingYour Story initiative, whose radio show tells the stories of local people who have overcome personal struggles.
