A 39 year-old, who allegedly refused to name the driver of his car after it had been involved in a traffic offence, has appeared in court.
James Weldon is accused of failing to provide information when requested by a police officer on October 25, 2016.
The officer attended his home address on Limeside Drive, Rutherglen following the offence which allegedly occurred earlier that day in Glasgow.
He is further charged with being in charge of a vehicle while unfit to drive through drink and drugs.
Weldon denied the charges when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on August 22 and will return for trial on September 19.
