Calendar tocapture Burnside inbloom

Burnside in Bloom is urging Rutherglen and Cambuslang residents to get snapping.

They are now inviting entries for their photography competitions for a 2018 calendar made up of pictures that have been submitted.

Entries, on A4 sheets (preferably photo paper) in colour, should be sent to arrive with the editorial committee no later than Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Entries should be sent to: Mrs Lucille Macnab, 184 Brownside Road, Burnside, Rutherglen, G73 5AZ.

There will be four categories of prizes: age 4-8; ages 9-2; ages 13 - 16; adult.

All entrants must retain a JPEG file of the exact entry in colour from which successful plates may be printed in the calendar.

Date of birth, full postal address, telephone number and if possible an email address should be given.

Successful entrants will be notified officially after judging.

The 2018 calendar will be available later this year.

All proceeds will go to support Burnside in Bloom and the work it does.
