Choir look­ing for new voices

The Tre­ble Clefs choir are look­ing for new singers, aged be­tween nine and 18.

The group meet ev­ery Wed­nes­day night from 7-8.30pm in the Old Par­ish Church on Ruther­glen Main Street.

Re­hearsals started back in Au­gust and they would love to see some new faces to help them sing a mix­ture of songs from chart mu­sic to mu­si­cal theatre.

Any­one who has a love of mu­sic and is in­ter­ested in join­ing should go along.

The group re­cently per­formed at a ladies night on Septem­ber 29 run by Stonelaw High School’s Par­ent Coun­cil.

They are also work­ing to­wards their Christ­mas Con­cert which will be held on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 6, at 7.30pm in Ruther­glen Old Par­ish Church on Main Street.

Tick­ets for the fes­tive ex­trav­a­ganza cost £3 and will be on sale soon.
