The world’s biggest trampoline park, based in Rutherglen, is aiming to give seniors a new ‘leap’ of life.

Flip Out Glasgow has launched trampolining sessions for the over 60s.

The sessions started at the weekend to coincide with the United Nations’ International Day of the Old Person.

To give over 60s the chance to give it a try, Flip Out is offering jumpers the chance to bring a senior friend or family member along between 10-11am, Monday to Friday.

George Gallacher, general manager at Flip Out Glasgow, said: “There’s strong evidence to show that people who are active have a lower risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and many more health conditions.

“Trampolining is an ideal form of exercise for any age because it’s a work-out for the whole body, and the mind. Not only that but it’s a good way to meet new people and above all have fun.”

The over 60s sessions take place every week day, priced at £7. Included in the price is a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits in the café.

Flip Out is based at 89a Southcroft Road.
