Hallowe’en winners all dressed (up) to impress

Judges had the frightening task of picking top four

Rutherglen Reformer - - Memory Lane - Douglas Dickie

It was an incredibly tough task but Tesco Burnside has chosen its favourite four costumes in our Hallowe’en competition.

The lucky winners were Summer Wood, Niamh Murphy, Harley Miller and Jack Thompson, all picked by Tesco community champion Karen Jarvie.

Summer, 11, who attends Bankhead Primary, was suitably scary with her ‘zip face’ make up.

Niamh, 7, from Burgh primary, also went for scary as Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. Jack and Harley had topical outfits. Harley, 10, from West Coats Primary, went as the Great British Bake Off, the final of which took place on Hallowe’en.

And Jack, 8, from Burnside Primary, was a ninja from the upcoming LEGO Ninjago movie.

Karen said: “It was great seeing so many wonderful costumes, although this did make my job of picking winners very difficult. You are all winners.

“It’s good to see traditions being kept up and you can clearly see from all the entries a fun time was had by all.”

Once again thank you to everyone who shared their pictures with our readers.
