A healthy upgrade on the solid-but-unspectacular first run sees Brit Dominic Cooper really grow into the titular role.

The dynamic between the show’s three main characters is first rate and the trio ooze coolness.

The villainy on display is suitably menacing and it all bodes well for season three.
