Women and kids in hospital after fight
Two women and eight children were taken to hospital after an incident in Castlemilk in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Police were called to the scene at a flat on Raithburn Road after reports of a fight breaking out around 4.40am.
Officers taped off three closes and a large grassed area at around 6.30am.
According to eyewitness reports, police vehicles blocked off the road and two women and eight children were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesman said:“Around 4.40am this morning, police were called to a report of a disturbance at a flat in Raithburn Road, Castlemilk.
“Emergency services attended and a number of people were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Enquiries are at a very early stage. Police remain in the area continuing enquiries.”
