FlipOut’s strong safety record

Rutherglen Reformer - - News -

Flip Out has received one of the fewest amount of emergency call-outs to trampoline centres in the last year.

The Rutherglen-based arena was attended six times by the Scottish Ambulance service in 2017.

All call-outs, revealed through a Freedom of Information request from the Rutherglen Reformer, are understood to have been for minor injuries. Flip Out ranked second on the list of fewest number of call-outs.

A spokeswoman for Flip Out said: “We’ve had more than 250,000 visitors in the last year with only six requirements for ambulance attendance, all of which were for minor injuries.

“Trampoline parks, when run in a safe, responsible manner, are a healthy and fun leisure pursuit. Like the majority of other sports, there is always a risk of injury, however when our safety rules are followed that risk is extremely low.

“The safety of our guests is our number one priority. Our staff are trained to the highest level and are extremely vigilant ensuring that all jumpers stick to the rules, while having fun at the same time.”
