Whole tooth after assault
Missing front teeth were a deciding factor in charging two men after a fight in Rutherglen on Saturday afternoon.
The pair, aged 21 and 26, were arrested after police were called to the incident in a communal close on Barnflat Street, Farme Cross, at 1pm.
Initially the incident was thought to be a serious assault as one man was missing two front teeth.
However, it was later discovered they had been missing for some time and that charges were reduced to assault and resisting arrest by lashing out.
The younger man was held in custody, while the 26-year-old was reported.
