Pos­i­tive events planned

Rutherglen Reformer - - 100 Year Since Armistice Day - Niki Ten­nant

South La­nark­shire Coun­cil’s an­nual Pos­i­tive Com­mu­ni­ties events are set to take place again this au­tumn.

Res­i­dents are en­cour­aged to come along and pro­vide in­for­ma­tion about anti-so­cial be­hav­iour is­sues within their area, as well as their opin­ions on the ser­vices the coun­cil and its com­mu­nity safety part­ners cur­rently pro­vide to tackle these.

Rep­re­sen­ta­tives from a range of com­mu­nity safety part­ners will be in at­ten­dance on the day to pro­vide in­for­ma­tion to res­i­dents and pro­mote their own ser­vices.

On Thurs­day Oc­to­ber 11 from 1pm to 3pm, on the ground floor of Cam­bus­lang Gate, the event is for the res­i­dents of Cam­bus­lang and sur­round­ing ar­eas.

It is an­tic­i­pated the event will be sup­ported by a num­ber of part­ners, in­clud­ing Hous­ing Ser­vices, Anti-so­cial In­ves­ti­ga­tion Team, com­mu­nity war­dens, Me­di­a­tion Ser­vice, Po­lice Scot­land, Scot­tish Fire and Res­cue Ser­vice, Vic­tim Sup­port and NHS La­nark­shire.
