A SOCIAL media account run by Salford health bosses ranked at number one in the country.
NHS Salford was the highest scoring Clinical Commissioning Group across England and was number 12 in the top 50 Twitter accounts of NHS organisations.
The report examined the use of social media in the NHS, studying the number of followers and tweets.
Hannah Dobrowolska, director of corporate services at NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “It’s extremely important to us to be able to hold genuine conversations with the population of Salford and obtain their views on health-related matters.
“I’m pleased that our efforts using social media have been recognised in this report.”
