ANIMALS IN DISTRESS Trio in search of a home

Salford Advertiser - - BEFORE THE BENCH -

ANIMALS in Distress take in abandoned and unwanted pets from across the north west. Here are a few of those waiting for new homes...

REX is a poor soul who has been with us since August when his owner died. He is an old lad – 10 years old but still full of life. He has a lovely temperament and is very gentle and calm.

Rex would make a good companion for an older person. He is neutered and microchipped.

Can you offer Rex his forever home?

KAI has been with us since July. At first he was a poorly little cat and this put him in a permanent bad mood. However, since his health has improved, so has his mood. He is a lovely lad now.

His bloods have been checked for feline aids and leukaemia, both were negative. He has been neutered and microchipped.

He was picked up as a stray, and is about 18 months old. He would be better in a home without young children and needs a comfortable place to curl up near the fire.

JASPER is a fun loving and playful nine-monthold Boxer cross. He has been with us since October.

He is a very intelligent little dog and would be very easy to train. He is neutered and microchipped.

He needs a home where he can have interaction with his new family, regular walks to run off his energy and plenty of toys to play with. »●To adopt any of the animals here, please call the Irlam shelter directly on 0161 775 2221.
