Tasty beef burger recipe
INGREDIENTS 500g lean beef mince (5% fat or less) 1 onion, finely chopped 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped salt and freshly ground black pepper low calorie cooking spray 4 x 60g wholemeal rolls 8 lettuce leaves 2 tomatoes, sliced 4 tbsp passata with onions and garlic for the salad Lettuce leaves, roughly torn 2 carrots, peeled and coarsely grated ½ cucumber, thinly sliced 1 red onion, thinly sliced 6 tbsp fat-free vinaigrette
INSTRUCTIONS Preheat the grill to hot. Put the mince, onion, Worcestershire sauce and garlic in a bowl, season and squish well using your hands. Divide into four portions, shape each one into a burger and spray with low calorie cooking spray. Grill for 5-6 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Put all the salad ingredients in a bowl and give them a good mix. Cut the rolls in half, place some lettuce on each base, followed by the slices of tomato, a burger and 1 tbsp of passata. Top with the roll lids and serve with the salad. Yum!
