Bren­dan An­der­ton Butch­ers is a house­hold name in the lo­cal area and is proud to serve loyal com­mu­nity.

It also op­er­ates in the food ser­vice sec­tor pro­vid­ing cater­ing cuts of meat to man­aged kitchens, schools, restau­rants, nurs­ing homes and public houses and it is this ser­vice it pro­vides for Manch­ester Gram­mar School.

To­gether the di­rec­tors have more than 100 years ex­pe­ri­ence of all as­pects of re­tail­ing and cater­ing butch­ery and the meat in­dus­try in gen­eral. They are com­mit­ted to pre­serv­ing tra­di­tional butch­ery skills and val­ues whist de­vel­op­ing new and ex­cit­ing prod­ucts.

The com­pany has high stan­dards of man­u­fac­tur­ing prac­tice and are au­dited by ex­ter­nal ac­cred­i­ta­tion bod­ies to stan­dards in­clud­ing BRC Global Stan­dards for food safety, Red Trac­tor Meat Pro­cess­ing, EBLEX QSM and STS.

The com­pany em­ploys ap­prox­i­mately 45 lo­cal peo­ple, and have a fleet of 14 re­frig­er­ated vans that are able to of­fer daily de­liv­er­ies through­out the North West.

The fam­ily hope that their vi­sion of the fu­ture will al­ways main­tain Bren­dan’s busi­nesses ethos: ‘qual­ity, ser­vice and ci­vil­ity’.
