Scootering - - Kickstart -

Newly arrived in the UK is the latest offering from Tino Sacchi: his long awaited Lambretta ‘Hydra’ hydraulic disc brake conversion. Having been in development for the last 18 months this Italian cast inboard disc unit is a visual copy of the original Italian item, but updated for modern use.

Featuring a remote hydraulic cylinder housed in a weatherproof cover to be mounted on the frame tube, it requires no modification to the headset, retains standard cable routing and is also fitted with a switch that activates the brake light when front braking is applied. Supplied complete with spindle, seals, bearings and plastic windows it will suit any Lambretta forks that are fitted with disc brake type links.

Retailing at around £560 complete, it offers a competitively priced, high quality, modern and ready to fit unit that’s certain to prove popular with Lambretta owners. (Photo courtesy of Armando’s – Sheffield).
