Many thanks for help at IOW
On August 28, my wife Jane and I rode onto the green at Ryde, Isle of Wight, on my scooter. When we had found a spot to park, Jane removed her helmet and proceeded to get off the scoot. Then she slipped and fell backwards onto the ground, cracking her head on a lamppost. She was concussed and bleeding quite badly from a deep laceration on the side of her head but two gentlemen and a lady came to our rescue. One gentleman helped Jane sit upright while the other gentleman compressed a pad on her head wound. The lady rang for the ambulance.
I did not think to get their names but a big thank you to these people for looking after Jane until the ambulance arrived. Also thanks to the paramedics Allan and Emma for reassuring and sorting the injury out before taking Jane to hospital where she was checked over and her wound glued together.
Once again, thanks to these people and all the well-wishers on the green. Dario and Jane Long (Kettering Profits SC), Kettering PS Love the new mag format.
