Louise Makin, 55, and Rolf Soderstrom, 51, BTG

TWO bosses at healthcare firm BTG this week sold almost £1m of shares between them.

Chief executive Dame Louise Makin pocketed £433,330 when she sold 64,070 shares in the business. On the same day chief financial officer Rolf Soderstrom netted £502,700 from a share sale. Makin, 55, who is also a non-executive director at Neil Woodford’s Patient Capital Trust, has been CEO since 2004. Woodford Investment Management is the third largest shareholde­r in BTG with an 8.24pc stake. Mother-of-two Makin, originally from Warrington, Cheshire, was made a dame in 2014. Soderstrom, 51, joined in December 2008 from BTG subsidiary Protherics.
