Room to improve
FOR years, my wife and I have holidayed in england and Wales in hotels towards the top of the range at
coastal resorts. The staff were mainly european – polite, efficient and helpful.
This year, my wife and I stayed in a hotel on the south Coast where the staff were english but the service was awful. I can’t wait for the day on which I celebrate the UK’s departure from the eU, but I hope that before they leave, migrants working in UK hotels show the British how to provide decent hotel service.
