star Brendan Gleeson is not impressed by the fashion for stars such as Tom Hardy to have their bodies inked with tattoos. ‘I absolutely don’t understand actors who are covered in tattoos and then have to get them all covered up every day on set,’ the Braveheart star remarks. ‘Why have them? You’re supposed to be a blank slate.’
