EQUAL OPS OF THE NIGHT:

None of the troops in Our Girl (BBC1) ever says ‘Sir’. They all refer to their CO, Captain James (Ben Aldridge), as ‘Boss’ — as if they’re builders, not soldiers. Of course the Army must combat sexism, but is this going too far?
