Pitt hands over hundreds of thousands each month for these children of Hollywood, including cash for their therapists and their round-the-clock bodyguards. But it is not enough.
Angelina has dubbed Brad a deadbeat dad, while establishing herself as the wronged party and burnishing her credentials as a living saint. She appears to want him to pay 50 per cent of everything, then deny him joint custody. If vengeance is behind her actions, it is shocking to behold.
Sometimes I wonder if dazzled William Hague is going to regret that ridiculous, quickie damehood he bestowed upon St Ange the Irked.
