Proud to lead the way

VERY proud that Scotland has become the first country to make sanitary products free.

Women should never have to live in period poverty, no matter what their personal circumstances might be.

It seems extraordinary to me that until March of this year, sanitary products were taxed as a ‘luxury’ in the UK.

And a teensy part of me wonders whether, if it was men who mens t r uated, t hey ever would have been in the first place.
