Es­tab­lished in 2009, award-win­ning gold­smith Liam Ross de­signs and cre­ates hand-crafted jew­ellery of the finest qual­ity. In his Wil­liam Street store and ad­join­ing state-of-the-art work­shop in Ed­in­burgh, Liam, a highly skilled crafts­man, uses a blend of tra­di­tional skills and mod­ern tech­niques. All as­pects of be­spoke de­sign, re­mod­elling, clean­ing and re­pairs are un­der­taken in-house. Kathryn King BA(Hons), PG Dip, CDG(HRD) set up busi­ness in her home town of Kirkcud­bright in 1996 after grad­u­at­ing from Ed­in­burgh Col­lege of Art. Now an es­tab­lished part of the busi­ness com­mu­nity, Kathryn and her small team of as­sis­tants of­fer a wide range of mod­ern but time­less de­signs work­ing with pre­cious me­tals and gem­stones. Di­a­monds are a spe­cial­ity – each one be­ing care­fully se­lected by Kathryn who is a cer­ti­fied Di­a­mond Grader. Sheila de­signs and makes jew­ellery in pre­cious me­tals and gem­stones and of­fers a be­spoke ser­vice to her clients, both on­line through the web­site and from her har­bour­side studio on the west coast of Scot­land. All pieces carry her per­sonal maker’s mark from the Ed­in­burgh As­say Of­fice. Sheila also sells through a num­ber of out­lets and gal­leries through­out the UK. She was re­cently awarded the Na­tional As­so­ci­a­tion of Jew­ellers’ De­signer of the Year 2016 (UK Run­ner Up).
