WALK OF SHAME FOR POOR TOURISTS

Scottish Field - - YOUR LETTERS -

I wholeheartedly agree with Alan Cochrane’s comments regarding the mayhem in town centres at the weekend, although I feel he is being a little cautious – the situation is much worse than he portrays.

I live near a small city on which you devoted a four-page article in your last issue, however you may have unwittingly misled the uninitiated tourists who visit us because nowhere do you mention that they will need to negotiate vomit on the pavements and pedestrian walkways on a Sunday morning.

My sympathy goes to the local hoteliers who must suffer. W M Leitch, Auchterarder
